  • Researches and studies areas in the medical field including sequence alignment, gene finding, genome assembly, protein structure alignment, protein structure prediction, prediction of gene expression, protein-protein interactions, and the modeling of evolution.
  • Serves as an analytical assistant for multiple investigators and projects involving genetic association studies of cancer and related outcomes.
  • Manages large genetic data files and conducts statistical analyses using off-the-shelf and custom tools.
  • Implements and runs analysis scripts under supervision of senior consultants, faculty statisticians, project bioinformaticians, and other investigators.
